Introduction to hypnosis course

Novices can find attending the ‘Introduction to Hypnosis’ workshop offers an insight into learning about hypnosis. The workshop includes some theory of hypnosis including an overview of uses of hypnosis, safety, gaining information, preparing for hypnosis, creating hypnosis with inductions and deepeners, dealing with distractions, giving suggestions and working with hypnosis with techniques including advanced ICD breathing and anchoring.

This course can lead on to the National Guild of Hypnotists (NGH) Certification course.

National Guild of Hypnotists (NGH) Certification course

This sixteen day course offers 100 hours of tuition with total study hours in the region of 500 hours.  The course includes several training manuals, DVDs, CDs and marketing information.  In addition, following successful completion, your first years’ membership of the NGH is provided.

Hypnosis for first responders

An intensive, experiential one day workshop designed specifically for first responders (Police, fire, ambulance, coastguard and mountain rescue).  This course can also be adapted to suit security and military personnel. It covers basic emergency hypnosis techniques and skills, together with positive and directional language applications to maximise communication effectiveness.

Hypnosis for medical and dental professionals

Hypnosis and hypnotherapy training is available for individuals and groups.  This intensive training and coaching can cover all aspects of hypnosis and hypnotherapy from novice training through to advanced skills.

Advanced workshops and master classes

Practitioners both new and experienced can find our advanced workshops and master classes offer opportunities to discover new material, gain confidence and experience as you refresh and build upon existing knowledge and skills.  Popular topics include: pain management; self-hypnosis; analytical and behavioural approaches; ego state therapy; marketing; creating workshops; optimising the voice; rapid inductions; and emergency hypnosis.

Research skills for hypnotists, practitioners and therapists

Whether you are new to research or brushing up on existing skills, Kate provides tuition on a wide range of research topics to help you build and enhance your research skills.  Topics include: research methods; qualitative and quantitative research; theoretical perspectives; research ethics; and writing your research report.

A system for effective hypnosis presentations, using highly interactive workshops or individual coaching to develop knowledge and skills, whether you are planning to present to a local interest group, have a stand at a therapy fair, or speak at an International conference.

Clinical supervision

Clinical supervision is available for hypnotherapists and hypnotists, whether in person or as a telephone consultation (after the first session).
