The Alterjective Institute

The Alterjective Institute is an ideal place for your hypnosis, communication and presentation skills training, whether you are just starting out, or are more experienced and looking for that something extra to enhance your existing knowledge, understanding and skills.

All of our courses are highly interactive and participative blends of lectures, demonstrations, practical experiences and discussions.

Whether you wish to find out about hypnosis for personal development or wish to become a hypnotherapist, we can offer a course for you.

Our Introduction to Hypnosis workshops form a strong foundation for our Practitioner training, the National Guild of Hypnotists Certification training course.

If you are a medical or dental professional or a first responder, we also have courses specially designed to meet your needs.

In addition, we offer specialised and advanced workshops and master classes once trained.

There is also the HypnodemoTM workshop, a course designed to meet the needs of practitioners who want to be able to create effective hypnosis demonstrations and talks.

During your studies and once qualified you will need to engage in clinical supervision and this is available in-house.

We fully support research at the Alterjective Institute and Kate is currently engaged in research at Doctoral level.  She also offers tuition in research skills, targeted to practitioners and therapists.

The Alterjective Institute are delighted to also offer PADLE: Positive and Directional Language.   A system for effective communication, it enhances and maximises spoken and written communications in a wide range of situations and environments.

We also offer comprehensive presentation skills training, covering everything from the initial application, through the preparation stage, the presentation and finally getting the most out of the post-presentation stage.
